Penn State is getting absolutely screwed by the SEC refs vs. Auburn

The Penn State Nittany Lions have not had the greatest time working with the SEC refs during Saturday’s game against the Auburn Tigers.

On Saturday, the Penn State Nittany Lions looked to extend their undefeated season with a win over the No. 22 Auburn Tigers. But, Penn State had to deal with SEC refs for the game, which is always an experience. That was evident after the Nittany Lions punted on third down because the officials loss track of downs.

The bad luck continued for Nittany Lions after they called a fake punt that saw defensive tackle P.J. Mustipher run for the first down, which he seemingly got with forward progress. However, the referees called that the defensive lineman was short of the first down, and thus gave possession to Auburn.

Many were not thrilled with the call on the field, as evidenced by the following tweets.

It is a rough night for Penn State, thanks to the officiating.
