Lane Kiffin, college football media react to Jimbo Fisher-Nick Saban feud

Lane Kiffin had an interesting take on the recent ongoing feud between college football coaching legends Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher.

Nick Saban recently held a press conference, and among his targets were Jimbo Fisher and Deion Sanders. One of the more notable viewers was Lane Kiffin.

The Ole Miss Football head coach had an interesting reaction to how Fisher responded to Saban’s claims that Texas A&M “bought their players.” Kiffin said the event should have been on Pay per View.

Needless to say, Kiffin was not the only person to have a response to how Fisher and Sanders clapped back at Saban.

It’s pretty evident that what Saban said about paying players struck a nerve with both Fisher and Sanders, and both responded as strongly as they could. However, as mentioned before, they were not the only ones.

Also, fans of college football have found a way to get in on the fun, offering their takes and with it. We’re all anxiously anticipating the Oct. 8 matchup that will feature these two teams, their first meeting since the Aggies got the best of the Tide back in College Station last season.

The inception of NIL deals has somewhat balanced the playing field, which Saban has largely dominated during his college football tenure. Plus, given how the Aggies have signed several of the top recruits in the country and how Jackson State was able to lure Travis Hunter away from a power five school to an HBCU, animosity has shown.

Stay tuned for when the Aggies visit Tuscaloosa. Will Saban and Fisher embrace warmly? Or will we see the college football frosty handshake version of Eric Mangini and Bill Belichick?
