The Vancouver condo tower with a penthouse that’s allegedly been serving as a makeshift nightclub was the scene of a heavy police presence overnight.
Police escorted several people in handcuffs from the Telus Gardens at 777 Richards St. on Saturday.

Police issued $2,500 in fines that night but did not actually access the unit, citing the need for a warrant.
Police have not yet said whether this weekend’s presence at the building is related to alleged partying in that penthouse.
